The facility, which was built by Aydın Metropolitan Municipality on the land donated by Mehmet Gökdemir, a businessman from Ataeymir, and built on 4 decares, opened in 2018, and includes a semi-Olympic swimming pool, a countryside wedding facility and a restaurant, attracted reaction when it remained idle in the previous period.

In the new period, the swimming pool was allocated to Karacasu Municipality under the chairmanship of Mustafa Büyükyapıcı for 2 years. In the statement made by the municipality, "The swimming pool, which is owned by our Metropolitan Municipality and located in Karacasu District, Cuma Mahallesi, island 48, parcel number 7, has been allocated to our Karacasu Municipality for a period of 2 years in accordance with paragraph (d) of Article 75 of the Municipality Law No. 5393. In recent years, the swimming pool had attracted great criticism for not being able to operate it. The operation of the facility, which came to the fore with swimming frogs, was rented to the district municipality by the Metropolitan Municipality in 2022, but it was not put into operation even though it was almost halfway through the summer period. While it was learned that Karacasu Municipality did not plan to operate it this year, citizens, especially children, were longing for swimming in Karacasu for a long time as a result of the lack of communication due to the fact that the letter to this effect was not written to Aydın Metropolitan Municipality.
